The Hauntings of Old Liberty High…

I, Dalton Lewis, wrote a ghost story that just came out within the last month that you should check out. I wrote about a bunch of teenagers with the thought to go over the various elements of their lives: their texts to one another, their loneliness, and their mortality. It starts with a shocking death and then the town mourns. Someone insists that the dead haven’t stayed dead, though: there is a ghost in town. He, Redman, is immediately locked up for a mental illness and ignored, but the incidents keep coming. Mitch Kurson tries to go to a society party but is shocked when they put on masks and appear to worship a spirit or apparition. Andrea is angry when someone hurts her lover Marie – causing both to spiral deeper into misery and rage. I worked really hard on this novella and hope that you check it out here.

Daniel Trump…

Meet Daniel Trump, a blogger, fan fiction writer, and novelist. He’s also living with a crippling mental illness that makes everything harder.

He has been writing for twenty years and has amassed a lot of writing in those twenty years.

Why does he write?

  • Because it shows the world what it is like to live with a mental illness.
  • Because it helps him to express himself in ways that he cannot in the real world.

What has he written?

You can go to the novels page to learn about some of his novels. You can check out the blog page to read the most recent blog or check out the old blogs on medium.com (before I switched here.) I also write fan fiction, primarily about the Warhammer 40k universe.

I blog about the following topics:

  • Life with a mental illness
  • Reviews of pulp fiction, from movies to novels to television shows.
  • What’s wrong with life.
  • Weight issues/being overweight issues.

Mecha Kaiju Mars

I, Daniel Trump, am hard at work on Mecha Kaiju Mars, my next sci-fi epic.

The next book I’m writing is called Mecha Kaiju Mars. It’s about giant robots fighting giant monsters on Mars. I am about sixty pages into the first draft and it’s going well. Everything seems great.

Why do this?

  • I wanted to write something about conformity/individualism and the kaiju are a great way to talk about a hive mind/free will.
  • This sounds like a genre story that will be a blast to write and rewrite and have some real fun with.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help me write I am doing the following:

  • Writing a kaiju culture document to develop the kaiju culture and lore.
  • Developing the year 2080 and some events which happened around that year.
  • Creating unforgettable characters and putting them in impossible situations.
  • Reading pulp fiction to know how others approach the genre – without copying.

I think that his novel will be good. I want everyone to check it out when it comes out in a few months. In the meantime check out my novels page if you need a sci-fi novel to read right now. Thanks.
